MAC - To The Beach Discussion

I bought Shimmermoss with this collection; one of a few shadows that I keep in the back of my mind as something I need to get. Now, I don't know what the heck I was thinking. Don't get me wrong, BEAUTIFUL COLOR! But one me? I dunno, I'm thinking of how to wear this and all of my ideas scare me. Like, I think Otherworldly Paint Pot as a base with Shimmermoss on the lid and maybe, Steamy in the crease? I think it would lovely lovely on someone else...

Try it with Club in the crease!

I ended up with ML by accident. I bought 2. One was a gift for my daughter and the other a CP for a co-worker. She later decided she didn't want it. I've decided to keep it. The colors are pretty and I would like to try it as e/s as well as blush.

For those who have Easy Lounger, why do you like it? I have FoF but love sparkles. Should I get this one or a b/u of FoF?

MSFs do that to me if I use them too frequently or too heavily. I'm crazily broken out right now after using ML but it could be for other reasons too. I'm not quite ready to write off ML as the culprit, but I have acne-prone skin and mineralized products do this to me (especially in the cheek/temple area where I apply).

If you can get your hands on Joyous BPB, its a good dupe on my NC25/30 skin. I have Fleur Power - thats a nice one too. Even Hipness from this collection is great.

Aww, I feel bad for everyone who this has happened to! This is why I go to MAC Pro the week before the release dates. If you're there right when they open, you're pretty much guaranteed everything and anything you want from the new collections. Remember that I have several back-ups of ML. If I happen to find the lustre drops at the MAC sale that you wanted, I'll sell you a ML at cost+tax if you still wanted them all

For all of the Ladies of Color out there who are wondering about Lazy Day lippie - get it!

I am NC45/50 and I love it. I wear this with Plum Pencil and Easy Lounger gloss and it is beautiful.

I never wear lippies straight out of the tube - I love layering for different effects. Experiment! I'm sure Vino, Nightmoth, Currant, etc. would look with Lazy Day as well.

here's a tip, wash it with dr. bronner's castile soap. it removes all the makeup from the brush. the tip will be white again.

Well I can let you know because I have issues with reds/pinks. Like this morning I woke up to the same ole issues

. I wore Sushi flower, Romping and Plum dressing yesterday and everything seemed ok especially since I'd worn Sushi and Romping before and no reactions. However this morning I had the mucus and redness. Is that what you get? I cant figure out what it is that bothers me but Mineral e/s do it too! It's so frustrating because it looked so nice! I also had HOT HOT HOT and had to swap it because I had the same reaction. I was hoping Firecracker wouldnt bother me since it has more orange in it. It didnt bother me after the MA did my m/u so I bought it

Also for the other ladies that mentioned the 130....I bought that when it first came out with the tabloid beauty but swapped it just two weeks ago since I returned the cream foundation!! Arrgghh now I'm not sure what to use to apply the bronzer I bought on Thursday

April, you need Easy Lounger. LOVE it. Did you get Lazy Day l/s? If so, then you REALLY need Easy Lounger.

I think I am getting a backup of both, and I never do that...

I finally got to try on my Lazy Day l/s & it kinda sucks on me. bummer

Its too pale to look pink & too pink to be a nude, so its just kinda meh on me. But its light enough that I can throw a gloss over it & its a good base. (positive spin lol)

Hi everyone, I've been reading for a while and have been following the TTB thread for a looooong time.

I was one of the unlucky ones who ordered Marine Life on Monday night and got a backorder notice and then a cancellation

I'm on vacation at the moment so can't go to a store or counter so I asked a friend to get ML for me, but she didn't understand the urgency of the matter

and it was sold out when she got to the store.

I pm'd one of the lovely ladies on here who got backups so people like me could still get their hands on ML without paying insane ebay prices and she sent it to me this morning, so it'll be waiting for me when I get home on Friday

together with FoF which got off mac.com. I'm so excited!

So this is to give a big shout-out to the lovely Marusia, thank you sooo much for doing this, I really appreciate it, and of course to everyone else who is doing the same thing to help out other Specktrettes

Yes, I do have the same reactions to pink, purple, and red colores as well as all the Mineral e/s since 2007

and thats why I'm keeping a way from this group.. I hate that since i love wearing those colores
