Don't laugh at the "ghetto" packaging once you get it.

Oooh, thanks for the mascara sample! Always so handy for travelling

And the ghetto packaging made me

I will prob tear it up in 3.7 sec to get to my ML and stare at it for a few hours

It was the only thing I wanted from this LE from the beginning, and then the swatches sold me on FoF. I'm excited to see it, and now I'm starting to lemming Lazy Day..

I am avoiding studying for an exam, so I decided to try Flurry of Fun over some different lipsticks instead. It looks amazing over Crosswires, as well as over Milan Mode. I posted some pics in the swatch thread but it is so hard to capture the beauty of FoF on camera. Tomorrow I am going for a backup of this magnificent gloss - and I never do backups!

ahhh i'm fighting so hard not to pickup more from this collection! I'm trying to save up for in the groove and some new summer clothes. This thread is so not helping but i can't stop myself from reading either.

I tried FoB today again and it didn't smudge! Yay! I figured I cannot draw the line all the way to the inner corner on my upper lash line, and it was good, that way it didn't transfer/smudge to my lower inner corner.
choochoo.gif
I'm happy that I found a way to use it, it would be unacceptable if there were a liner I could not make work for me!

WELL. That was a disaster!

The girl that helped me out at the freestanding was REALLY helpful! Which, of course, just meant I bought a ton of stuff...

I ended up getting Thrills. When I tried it on at Nordies, I used it right out of the tube, and I wasn't crazy about it... The MUA at the freestanding used a lip brush and sheered it out a little, and I LOVE it. Love love. So I got that (and the retractable lip brush too, haha).

I tried on Splashing, even though I thought it would be milky and settle into the lines in my lips (especially after seeing the lip swatches on Temptalia), but OOPS. I loved it! Sigh. So I got that too.

Easy Lounger, I didn't even try, because I knew I would love.
lol.gif

I didn't try Beachbound. I tried it on my hand and it just looked like shimmer. I have pigmented lips, and I really think it would give me the crackhead look, so I just didn't even try it on.

Surprisingly, I loved Temperature Rising. :/ She lined my lips with it and blended it into the lip with a brush... which was still way bright, but with FoF over it? OMG. Unfortunately, they were out!

So it looks like I'll be placing an order...

I tried Sand & Sun on the eyes with a brush, and I liked it a lot better. I don't have ANY neutral mattes, which I know is not good. I have Jest and Gleam, but those are really my only two pinky-neutral colors, and those are pretty shimmery. I think it's going to look nice with Coral Crepe for a neutral summer eye!

I was going to get Shimmermoss in a pan, but they were out of the pan, so I'm going to have to get that online.

I was also going to get Lucky Green, but they were also out of that in pan. I did get Atlantic Blue - The only blues I own are Tilt, Freshwater, Deep Truth, and Electric Eel (Cool Heat almost counts, even though that's a teal). I like that it's a red-based blue; I have blue eyes, but the fact that it's sort of violet doesn't wash them out too much.

I also grabbed the pore refining primer or whatever it's called - I'm gettng obsessed with having a smoother, nicer canvas to work on, and I have icky cheek pores (especially in this heat!). I also got a sample of the SPF 50 face primer.

Aaaaand I went to Sephora and bought a bottle of the Mat Velvet +. I've never tried it before, so I'm excited to see how I like it!

So that brings my total TTB haul to:

Easy Lounger
Splashing
Flurry of Fun
Hipness
Marine Life
Funbathing
Thrills
Lazy Day
Sweet & Punchy
Sand & Sun
Firecracker
Life's a Breeze
Scorcher
Float on By

And I will be getting Shimmermoss and Temperature Rising online. I already have Humid.

..so basically, I only did NOT get Getaway Bronze, Beachbound, and In the Buff. I'm in TROUBLE.

I've decided to go back to MAC in a week and try to get my hands on Thrills, Sand&Sun and Splashing. I hope they're still available by then...

OK, here's the thing...

I can't decide on whether or not I should Lazy Day
heart.gif
. I'm going back and forth deciding on whether to get it or not...trying to think of reasons not to get it, why I don 't need it! Not too successful there..can't think of why I shouldn't get it..only one thing pops in my head..I just bought bombshell
heart.gif
lipstick..it's a frost. Lazy Day is a lustre. Two different finishes to own I tell myself. Anyone who has bombshell and Lazy Day..are they different in color?

) and Easy Lounger is right up my alley. It may not be overly special, but it is a gloss that I will get lots of use out of. The silver shimmers are just beautiful, especially when the sun hits them. For me, it is just one of those lip products that makes me feel pretty. As far as Flurry of Fun, I got that one, and love that one too, but personally, it's not necessary for me to get a backup. While it is TOTALLY gorgeous and unique, it's just not something I will wear everyday and could never finish up. Teal sparkles aren't always appropriate, and on me, they are pretty obvious. I am so glad that I have it, and it is one of my favorites of all that I got, but I just don't need 2. Now, Easy Lounger, that's a totally different story.
lol.gif

I so agree with you Audrey! Multidimensional pearl lipglasses are love! I just love how it looks in the sun and it's just gorgeous!!

no, when i swatched it, i thought "..eh"

but thrills and flurry of fun are a whole different story.

I feel that FoF is the prettiest lipglass MAC has came out with in a while (and my favorite lipglass that i have.)

^^ do you want more color, or more shimmer? There's not much shimmer in Splashing; it's more of a deeper tint of pink that shows up really nicely on my pigmented lips. Easy Lounger has a really pretty silver shimmer to it, but on pigmented lips, not much color. Using it over Lazy Day, though...

I bought easy lounger.

the silver glitter to it. I use gloss sparingly so I don't see alot of silver sparkle..just enough though. I thought splashing was close/would be close to english accents
heart.gif
so I didn't even look at it

Bombshell!! My fave l/s ever.

Lazy Day is great ... but Bombshell is way better! At least for me.

Lazy Day is lighter.
