I've been telling myself the same thing. I finally cut my list down to under $75...until my MUA pulled out the VV testers for me. I love her! She was so excited for the both of us, I didn't even have to ask. I was going to pass on the MES, but after swatching them I had her set them both aside. My list is right back to where it started- and then some.

Erm.... dunno. Sorry! MAC Cherry works fine for me with reds like Russian Red or MAC Red.

I LOVE the movie Dolls and I also have Dolly Dearest but don't like that one as much. The chucky movies are my ultimate favourite especially the first original two. My bf is a horror movie collector so we have a whole shelf or shall I say multiple shelfs. lol

When I was little, I always imagined that my dolls were real and would come alive at night and it made me feel calm.

Dark Deed looks alot more glamorous to me than Kittenish/Cunning which look more like everyday colors. It reminds me of dark vampire blood. Heartless is creeping into my list and if it has glitter, I feel even more giddy!

Magically cool powder, Wicked Ways, Revenge is Sweet, Oh So Fair, and Briar Rose all sound so good! I cannot wait to hear the rest (Bite of an Apple, Heartless, etc.).

Thanks hon! I'd been running around all day and then had people over and I kept wanting to tear away and write all abut what I'd seen, until I finally said "excuse me a minute - I've gotta tell my ladies about this stuff!" and then sat there and typed that all up while they were all tapping their feet at me, lol.

Starring the chick from A-ha's "Take on Me" video (for those old enough to remember that one).

The older horror moviese I find are the best I love watching them

The dolls movie I am referring to is about a bunch of random people get caught in a storm at this creepy old house in the woods where this older couple live and work and the dolls come alive and kill all the mean adults

I am so undecided about this collection I guess I will have to see when I go to the preview.

Has anybody seen/swatched Devilishy Stylish lipgloss (the nude one)?? It looks really pretty but how about on? Is it orangey or yellow? I'm hoping its more nude/champagne since i'm NC20 and scared it might appear brown or orange on me.

If you love dolls, you need to see the stop-motion animated version of Alice in Wonderland by the cult Czech animator Jan Svankmajer!! It's amazing, amazing, amazing. Here's a clip:
YouTube - Jan Svankmajer's Alice - Bonecreatures

If you are looking for post-feasting vampire lips, Dark Deed will probably give you what you want.

Heartless didn't look glittery in my hand swatch, and it doesn't look glittery in the tube the way Cunning does, but maybe it has that secret shimmer texture that Cunning has when you put it on the lips?

Do you know if Heartless is lighter/brighter than Russian Red or Port Red?

Re: MAC - Venomous Villains discussion

My mom is a big Maleficent fan, so I told her that she should start scoping out this collection now and preorder stuff. I recommended Briar Rose for her, even if she doesn't use it much because the compact is quite nice. Most of these colors will probably be too vivid or too dark for her taste.

In fact...I think I need to add BR on to my "try on" list. Do I need more blush? Nah. But all I hear are nice things so I may as well see for myself.

So true! But I think I will post-pone my call until after Erin's update. I need to know how much I can splurge!

'Wish I could help you there.....I went for years not using much makeup to tossing out all my old stuff in a huge purge and getting back into MAC limited editions - zero to 60 vrrrmm vrrrmmm.

it's funny, I almost feel a little snobby about the perm line, thinking like if it's not the latest, greatest, newest and wildest, then who needs it, lol. I know, I know - totally bitchy attitude
