I went to the Pro store here in Chicago today and was able to get all I wanted which was just Bad Fairy and BOA. I thought I wanted Darkly, but it wasn't nearly as dark as I thought. I had planned to NOT look at or touch the magic cooling powder, but she got me. To my surprise T&L was beautiful as a highlight on my dark skin--so I got it too! There didn't seem to be any urgency or panic at the store. They launched the collection yesterday and the MUA's were barely familiar with the line. So, if you're in Chicago, slip on over to Armitage and you can get all you want.

Of those, if you're only going to get one, I say get Wrong Spell. It's the hardest one to dupe for certain. Dark Deed is more similar to Media than Dark Side (more red/ less purple), Heartless is a different finish than Russian Red and Wicked Ways is pinker than Russian Red lipglass, but they're close enough that you could substitute them. I can't think of anything perm that looks much like Wrong Spell.

Thanks everyone again for the reviews, swatches, etc. Now for sure I want OSF and bite of apple (loving the corals lately) and I was planning on getting the pink/purple MES but after seeing some tutorials I'm leaning towards She who dares (green & blue)!! Anybodys thoughts which would be better with blue eyes. The other items I can wait on (if they sell out I won't be crushed unlike my 3 for sure!!). TIA

Come now... THe point is that you'll be able to break it out those few times you do feel like it. Don't know about you, but over the years, I've collected north of a hundred lipsticks. Even if I wore them all in sequence, three times a year would be the average. How often do you really have to wear something for it to make you happy?

Agreed! I always look at it this way: a MAC lipstick costs aroiund the same as a half-decent bottle of wine. The wine would be gone in an evening and forgotten by the next day (well, it would be in my house

), whereas your lipstick will give you several years of non-intoxicating pleasure - it's a bargain

Holy moly! I would love to see your collection. I have 20 lipsticks and allready feel like I reached my lipstick collecting saturation point.

When I went to MAC with my bf, he's like "they forgot to include a green shadow in cruella's collection" after pointing at cruella's image. I was like "I know!" and thought it was so funny that he noticed.'

Don't say that! I can buy anything now. I guess we will just have to say, but I really would like Oh So Fair and Bite of an Apple. I can live without the rest but the dark lippies are starting to appeal. Wrong Spell and Dark Deed! The cooling powder looks very interesting too.

I was so excited when I saw this collection I just had to step away from the computer/message boards for awhile so that the suspense wouldn't kill me. So now that it's getting close I've been hitting up the reviews and swatches (thank you everyone!) and I've basically got my list.

Here's my latest question: If the MCLP are going to be made permanent, should I get one this time around, or focus on some of the LE stuff like lipsticks, eyeshadows, etc?

This is the first collection for which I will be stalking the MAC website at midnight for the on-line release. However, after missing out on ripe peach, marine life AND stereo rose- I feel it must be done!

My list of definites:
all 3 Beauty Powders (I like to collect the LE compacts)
Bite of an apple blush &
Strange Potion l/g

and PROBABLY Toxic Tale L/S- I swear I talk myself in & out of this one at least six times a day!

I'm curious about which items will likely sell out the fastest....
