I thought T&L was the way I had to go because I didn't want to look bronzed, but Cajun isn't dark enough for that. I think either would work for you. I can't comment on the uniqueness of VV since I don't own that many purple shadows. But I thought the texture was decent for a matte shadow, I had to swipe it a few times so it didn't look so faded on my hand but it's definitely buildable.

I asked about this a while back and was told to swatch the NP on tape and not on your actual nails. It could be different at other locations, but this is what I do and it works just great. Plus, I get freaked out thinking about finger germs just like any other germs.
