Re: MAC - Venomous Villains discussion
Yey, in less than a week i shall have my VV goodies
. I think I might end up skipping the cooling powder for now since it's becoming perm and get BOA, Briar Rose bp, Violetta l/s and now added Dark Deed l/s. I have a tone of vampy shades in my stash and wear them often but one more wouldn't hurt.

It's the same exact thing!
ORLY duping MAC!

I wouldn't be so sure u guys. I've been using Orly for a long time and they're known for their innovative technology when it comes to n/p finish. I actually bet when it comes to the nail polishes, MAC was the one who copied Orly's shades.
MAC is great when it comes to trendy makeup, but I never thought that they were the originals in every trend, they're simply good at spotting them and then in a timely manner adding them to their LE lines.

Actually, I have to say that this has opened my eyes up about MAC a bit. This is the second launch in a month to have the exact same products are new products from another brand (the Superslick Liquid eyeliners would be the other). While I'm fairly sure MAC develops its own product, it seems it doesn't develop all of its products in-house. The timing is just too coincidental -- these are all launching within weeks of each other, so it's definitely not a case of "copying." I think they're just the same products.
My mom wanted Bad Fairy, so I bought that for her. But I admit that I bought the ORLY versions of the other two polishes -- $3 less for more product? Heck, yeah.
