I believe it is. Vainglorious may be a tad bit bronzer, but they are close enough to me.

Did you download a free antivirus software like AVG Free? If not, try it. It's possible that it may be something with your computer if that doesn't work. I feel so bad for you. Just nicely explain to your hubby how important that this is too you - & you'll look so pretty for him....later

Vainglorious is darker and more burgundy than Star Violet, if you're on a budget or already have Star Violet, then Vainglorious is def not a must-have but with the dk burgundy shade & the VP finish & that I don't have SV, I'm probably getting Vainglorious- I saw an amazing look with deep burgundy e/s & smoky blue-grey liner (kinda like the PP quad from Felines but I'm hoping this will be more intense)

i'm lighter than nw15 and i'll give it a try. like any other pigmented blush, you can use a light hand with a 187 brush to make it work (it's what i do with my beloved sin blush by nars).

it's not a color i usually go for but neither was stereo rose and now i'm really glad i got it.

I agree, I find MES very uninspiring when used dry. I used them wet all the time, never dry.

I was playing with Toxic Tale just now. I see that you can tone it down with Stripdown liner (or whatever is close to your own lip color). I also got pretty results with a mufe coral lip liner #18C. I tried it with a red liner and...

. I'm going to just line the outside of my lips with Stripdown to keep the color in place. Why buy a color like TT if you're not going to go all the way?

It's out now, and it's not a dupe of Bad Fairy. Same general color, but no duochrome effect. It's a pretty poor imitation, IMO.




sorry- I was trying to quote a previous post. I obviously have a lot to learn. Anyway, If you love Bad Fairy, get it- the OPI isn't a dupe.

Ok so i don't have carbon in the normal pan but i do have carbon in the gentle fumes quad and a smaller size in one of the red she said palettes...i think i am just going to get it anyway...because when i finally do end up needing a carbon (which will be like 10 years from now since I only need a tiny little dab of it each time) i want it to be with Cruella on it...

Reading this made me so jealous!! I have to wait until Thursday to play with my Toxic Tale.

Thanks for the heads up about stripdown. I will have to try using a skin tone matching liner.

Did you get heartless? What liner looks best with that?

My DH doesn't get my MAC obsession either. Then I point out his golf, metal detecting, and scuba & lobster diving.
