I agree with those who aren't fond of the packaging, although I expect that that's Disney's insistence, since they tend to want complete consistency in their image.

Overall, the collection seems a bit less than what I was hoping. Really wanted to get some strange lip colours and greasepaint.

Here's my "curious" list:

Heartless- Cherry Red (Amplified)

Devilishly Stylish- Deep fuchsia with pink pearl

Eyeshadow
De-vil- rich copper (VP) Seems like there's been a lot of copper/ bronze colours released this year, so I'll evaluate whether or not I want it when I see it in person.

Hot house- Deep raspberry with pink pearl

Eyeshadow
Her Alter Image- Light violet (VP)

Dark Deed- Burgundy plum (Amplified)

Revenge is sweet- light yellow purple

French Quarter- Black green with multi colour pearl (assuming it's not too much like Greengrease)

Brash and Bold- bright magenta
Push the Edge- deep bright purple with pearl

Magically Cool Liquid Powder
Truth and Light- sheer shimmer reflects silver and pink

It's big, but I can see a fair amount being cut out as dupe-able when I see it in person.

It's funny seeing just the Evil Queen's head on one of the eyeshadows lol. Here's my preliminary list tho:

Heartless lipstick - Cherry Red (Amplified)
Toxic Tale lipstick - Bright coral (Satin)
Her Alter Image eyeshadow - Light violet (VP)
Vainglorious eyeshadow - Bronze burgundy (Frost)
Bite of an apple powder blush - soft coral pink (Matte)
Briar Rose beauty powder - Soft violet pink with pearl

And if the packaging's not that great, it wont be so difficult sticking to this list or even removing a few!

Ok, I feel like I am the only one that is not really digging this collection.

The packaging is terrible.

There are a few things I am interested in, but what I actually end up with will depend on swatches and color story info for other collections. I may skip completely if something else strikes my fancy

Right now, possibilities include:

Wicked Ways- Light nude with gold pearl

Eyeshadow

The excitement has been killed for me. I'm not feeling the packaging, it looks like children's toys with stickers on them.

There is also not really many items I want from the colour descriptions. Here are what I'm interested in:

this is my prelim list without seeing swatches. i can't get caught up right now, cause MAC descriptions don't sound very appealing to me so far. sounds similar to what we are seeing already. on the other hand, i love plums... i find they are my go-tos, so a few new ones won't hurt my stash

Blush: Darkly my dear- mid-tone brown plum (Matte) i really have to see how this compares to dirty plum , actually it sounds like if dirty plum & raizin had a baby, you would get this, interesting...

Sinister- soft brown plum (lustre)

Powder blush: Bite of an apple- soft coral pink (Matte) <to me this color looks like Marine life when applied without the overspray..and more pigmented> IF it looks close to marine life, i am on it! THANK YOU IN ADVANCE MAC!

I agree with those who wanted the sketchy design. :/ I think this could be salvaged, if all the packaging had some design, instead of the regular black containers with one sticker (even if that's not a sticker, who cares). I mean, I thought To The Beach was a bit cheesy too at first, but they made it work and look fun.

Anybody else kinda disappointed the Style Black MES' weren't included as a repromote? Imagine Young Punk! Ack! And if they made a dark GREEN one! Holy crap that would've been amazing!

I reeeeeeeally want Bite of an Apple now though! Maybe 2! It sounds amazing.

A dark, fierce purple paintpot would've been nice too - or even Infamous repromoted.

I am also disappointed by the packaging

My wishlist is:
Cruella - Heartless lipstick
Maleficent - My Dark Magic and She Who Dares MES, Briar Rose BP
Dr Facilier - Truth and Light Magically Cool Liquid Powder

I'm looking forward to swatches and the official promo pics but I'm not as excited for this collection now I've seen the packaging.
I think they could have done a lot more with the products too, I've only been into MAC for a year but a lot of it seems 'same-y' to me.

I cant believe a light pink lipstick made it in. It's like there always HAS to be one in every collection. It is just not fitting here. There could have been a million more interesting colours to include. I feel the same about the coral one too. esp after SCF & PaP they are on overload.

With a collection like this, it is kinda free run to release odd/interesting colours. Too safe for my liking

Blah the packing looks cheesy and "old-fashioned" almost. Looks like a 4 year old got into her mommy's make-up and decorated it!

Hope the actual products don't disappoint. Some of those lipsticks and glosses sound really nice!

I want Toxic Tale, Resort Life (I love lip gelees), and Brash and Bold (I didn't get it the first time around, and have regretted it since). Possibly Vile Violet, I'll have to see swatches of it. Maybe the compact. I wish there were eyeshadows in the Dr. Facilier part, he's one of my favorite villains.

lol, I agree. I don't even look at lipsticks, but I like pale pink lipglosses and I don't remember any collection that wouldn't have a pale pink lipgloss. But I do like the fact that lipglosses always kinda mirror the lipsticks, that way I won't miss out on a color I like.

Can I ask how would you use Brash & Bold? I have a sample and, it's pretty, but I'm not really sure what to do with it. ;p

Cheesy packaging or not, I feel like this collection has something for everyone. Like each part of the collection has different things, instead of how MAC sometimes does 4 parts, but they each have 3 e/s, 3 l/g or whatever.
I'm interested in A LOT of stuff. I can't wait for this!

i don't use brash and bold that much to be honest. i actually posted a thread in mac chat a month ago because mine seemed to be binding together and wouldn't shake up like a normal powder would. i thought perhaps mine had got damp somehow but it turns out everybody elses looked the same. so because of the weird texture i'm not a fan. but when i first got it i used it to make lipgloss and on the lid with push teh edge pigment in teh crease.

I'm not too bothered about the packaging, I actually quite like it!

I've got the pigments off my list, and some lipglasses, I buy them but they're sticky and I never wear them!
