I agree with everyone on the packaging. It looks quite childish to me. I much prefer more grownup and sophisticated style which this obviously isn't. In the end though, I buy for the products not the packaging.

I'm also annoyed at all the pigment repromotes, I was really hoping to see some new ones. But still I'm excited about this collection. Style Black was my fave collection last year as I love the dark mood in makeup and this year's VV collection (Maleficient part) might be it for me this year

Oh, also excited about Hot House repromote, I missed on it the first time!

Yeah, can't help but do a wish list too.

One thing going through my mind is how there could be some similarities between the reds, blues and greens here and in Tartan Tales, also between the metallics and purple/plums in Fabulous Felines. Swatches are going to be a big deal, because I don't think I can handle a $500 bill just for this collection, d'oh.

So, to break it down:

Cruella
Heartless- Cherry Red (Amplified) - Tartan Tale might have even better reds.

Shadow: De-vil- rich copper (VP) - could this replace my favorite copper shadow from an old company that's out of business?? If it doesn't, ok pass.

Beauty powder: Her own devices -cool nude - i have a feeling this is going to be too perfect to pass up for NC15.

Blush: Darkly my dear- mid-tone brown plum (Matte) - trying not to want, but there won't be dupes of this one.

Evil Queen
Lipstick: Toxic Tale- Bright coral (Satin) - maybe Temperature Rising will be enough and I can skip this.
Sinister- soft brown plum (lustre) - one of those that will be super amazing or a total pass.

Shadow: Her Alter Image- Light violet (VP)
Vainglorious- Bronze burgundy (Frost)
Vile Violet- Deep blue purple (Matte) - between these 3 purples and the MES, there will have to be a way to narrow it down to one or two.

Powder blush: Bite of an apple- soft coral pink - praying Marine Life will be good enough to pass on this one, or at least that Tartan Tales blush.

Maleficent
Dark Deed- Burgundy plum (Amplified) - fingers crossed that this won't be as awesome as it sounds.

Lipglass: Revenge is sweet- light yellow purple - maybe something in Fabulous Felines will be good enough.

MES: My Dark Magic- Deep pink with pink pearl/ Deep plum with purple pearl
She who Dares- Deep navy with blue pearl/ Deep forest green with lime pearl - will it be possible to whittle this down to only one or the other?

Beauty powder: Briar Rose- Soft violet pink with pearl - must buy, sight-unseen.

Nail lacquer: Bad Fairy- Red with multichanging pigments - must buy, sight-unseen.

Dr. Facilier
French Quarter- Black green with multi colour pearl - Greengrease will probably be enough.

Pigment: Brash and Bold- bright magenta - if this is approved for lips and eyes, I'll probably have to break down.

Magically cool liquid powder: Truth and Light- sheer shimmer reflects silver and pink
Cajun- Sheer bronze reflects gold - one of these will probably be hard to resist, but by the time they come around, the MBs from In the Groove and Felines might be decently similar.

I'm so vain mirror- Round special decoration compact mirror - praying it's not as nice as I bet it will be.

So, if I'm lucky and all my justifications work it'll just be 2 beauty powders, 1 nail polish, 1 MES, 2 shadows, and 1 or 2 lip products and I can keep it under $150. YIIIIIIKES!

Thank you for letting us know! Now that this collection is finally true, I always wonder if it actually had been in the works/planned since some time ago, which I think may be what caused the rumors. Maybe my theory is right then =)

well i wear that combo because the pigments came out together last year with a collection so i guess they are made for each other. honestly the 3 purple piggies look very similar but push the edge is actually eye sfae whereas grape is not

Ahh, I didn't know they were both in one collection before, makes sense! I admit, I still use all the unsafe ones on eyes. ;x Even Platinum, which I think is a superspecialawesomelyunsafe for eyes pigment.

although with platinum is always use a mixing medium in hope the particles don't go in my eyes!

Haha, we're rebels! I actually rarely foil them, my daily eyeliner is Dark Soul used dry, and if I remember correctly it was also not eye-safe. :X

I was hoping the packaging would work with the colours of the villians not just the pics...well there goes my hopes of purple, red and navy packaging lol.

Even though I am not the biggest fan of the packaging now, I am sure I will like it when it comes out lol..

I am liking all the corals mac has been coming out with lately...though I think I may have too many coral lippes, and blushes to need any more

Believe it or not the packaging is the thing I like the most about this collection. I like the black vinyl look, and it's just straightforward disney. Luckily it appears they are screen printed on, not stickers. As for the products, from just skimming through the list, everything looks done before. No new pigments, the e/s and l/s descriptions are all the same as past products, and it seems like there are a lot of repromotes. I dunno, I'm sure when I actually see some pics I will be more excited. At least I hope so!
