Thanks! I had a passing thought about a lipgloss, but such colors look like crap on my lips, I can do bright, but not medium-dark lips. I have a sample of push the edge (lol, is there any visible difference between push the edge, grape and entremauve? I think mac is starting to run out of ideas) too, I'll try that

Weird, how you came up with just the combination from this collection! : D

I'm not excited about the descriptions on Temptalia at all. It's a letdown and a relatively small collection. I am most interested in the evil queen portion of the collection. And are they serious bringing a lipgelee back for Dr. Facilier????Reallly?? Ooook, Mac.

Why must the beauty powder be so expensive! I love the sound of the Briar Rose one though. Can't wait to see all the colours! My list so far:

Even with my mild disappointed and hesitation, here is my list...

Cruella: Heartless Lipstick
Evil Queen: Toxic Tale Lipstick, Bite of an Apple Blush
Maleficent: Violetta Lipstick (!!!)

And that's all. I can't believe the repromotes for such a small collection. Meh. I am interested in the mirror b/c it's called I'm So Vain and I am so that would be cute. I need to see it first, though.

When MAC says "pearl" in their descriptions, what do they mean. shimmer, irredescent? Can someone break this down for me, cause they use the term alot.

Wow, I just realized product pictures are out. From the looks of it, I will not be buying the mirror. Yuck. I'll stick to my model mirror. I'm so turned off. Next collection, please.

I can't tell you for sure what they mean, but my best guess is sheen. I have a few lip products with pearl in them but I don't consider them shimmery necessarily, just that they aren't flat/matte. They seem glossy on the lip.

I agree with everyone about the packaging. They just took the easy way out by slapping the cartoons on the packaging. I, too, wish they'd done something like the stylized-sketch images from the video promo or something a la Barbie.

I think it would've been wicked if the blushes were square in shape. Keeping it the way it is, maybe if the character was off to one side instead of plastered on the front. Perhaps if they took distinguishing features of the character and just displayed that like cruella's hair or Facilier's hat, for example. I don't know, this seems like it came directly from disney. Some make up you'd see in Claire's. I'm not usually picky or overly critical, but what the hell?

Link? I've seen a couple pictures of a couple of the e/s and a blush, but none with the mirror.

EDIT: nevermind, I think I get what you're saying.

EDIT TWO: I like the packaging. Especially for Malificent and the Evil Queen - they're such old characters that it's retro enough to be kinda classy on its own. And somebody else mentioned tha Disney was probably strict about what MAC could do with the images (wonder if that's part of the reason why this collection was such a long time coming?). They've always been pretty iron-fist about how their intellectual property is used!

You're not the only one. I was so excited reading over the product list. Then I saw the packaging and was really let down. If I was in my 20's, ok, then it would be cute. I'm 40!! I love disney so this is a let down for me. They could have made the packaging more modern/funky/mature looking. There's SO much they could have done with it. Using those sketches in the promo video would have skyrocketed their sales!

I'm not neglecting the collection, just going to wait for more pics before I decide my final list

Im dissapointed in the packaging as well but for the most part Im interested in the product not the packaging anyways.

At first since I was a few pages behind I was only interested in the MES my list quickly grew but Im hoping to cut it back since im doing major hauling for In the Groove I'd like to walk away with 4-6 products and be happy from this. FF isnt tickeling my fancy besides 2 things from it so I think I can manage with all my wishlists.

I actually kinda like the packaging. I agree that it could have been more artistic, but I like that it's classic Disney!
