The look on her face is kind of snide also. And that is why a diplomatic, middle of the road answer would've been more appropriate. She says that she answered the way she did to be true to herself. Well, I think that's great, but there are ways to be kind and gracious, while still maintaining your integrity.

I don't really see how she is "Ignorant" for having the beliefs that she does (everyone knows these are Christian beliefs)
If I were to say people with Muslim beliefs are Ignorant (which I do not , but Its a good example) I would get completely flamed.

I think you're missing the more important point here, her inability to articulate her position intelligently. She was certainly no William F. Buckley, who I profoundly disagreed with on many of his ideas, but appreciated how smart and thoughtful his arguments were.
To be quite frank, my expectations for beauty queens and Perez Hiltons are substantially lower, so I find the whole beauty queen thing "she said what?" just amusing and don't take it very seriously. It's good for a giggle and a couple of play throughs on Youtube, then I'm done with it.

He's not hurt by her or her comments, not a little bit. He's seeing ratings and clicks and dollars and page views, and he's milking it for all he can. The more alive he keeps the subject with his own brand of vitriol, the more traffic and exposure he gets.

This is true, but it wasn't her lack of being articulate that cost her the crown.
