Is it true the Kauai duo is permeant? Or was that speculation??

Isn't that her job as a beauty blogger to test products fully and then write an informed opinion?  If she's not doing that, then her reviews lack credibility.  I understand that she needs to post about LE collections while they're relevant but she's sacrificing the quality of her blog content just so she can be the first out with a review.  As for her makeup "looks", my frustration with her is that as a professional beauty blogger, she seems oblivious to the changing trends in makeup application.  If you look at some of the makeup looks shown for Spring 2014, as an example, you'll be hard pressed to find a look involving 2 eyeliners and 4 different eyeshadows blended into a muddy mess.

I do agree with you in that sometimes it feels like shes rushing to get the first review out, but I think her blogs got better since she does the 'sneak peak' with basically all the swatches and then follows with the review. I don't take much notice of some of the reviews as im a lot more slap dash with my application and she's quite anal about applying things in a sanitary fashion so that affects her opinion more than it would affect mine. With eyeshadow payoff she's usually right and I find swatches and descriptions helpful. her looks arent great and arent fashion forward but I go to other sources for that, we cant be good at everything!

I'm rreeaalllly interested in this primer but I need to check out the ingredients to make sure it's not going to be full of silicones which will just clog the pores I'm trying to hide...

I ordered Bimini from NARS EU website, Kauai is still there. Gold would be nice, but purple is too cool. Tempting duo anyway. I should have ordered Timanfaya. Orange would be perfect on me. No sight of primer though.

Aside from the shimmer OD on the eyes :thud: it was an ok look. I liked the purple pencil, but nothing really grabbed me.

I just need Kuai duo from this collection and that's it! I gave my card to my local Nars counter to call me as soon as they get this collex. The SA said he thinks they'll have it around Jan 31st which is great timing - just a few days before my birthday
