Any reccomendations? I have Thaila, Watermelon, Georgia, Chaos and Eros I believe.

I'd love a really nice nude though.

I'm keen about trying their single eye shadows, what are your thoughts/recommendations for those? Doesn't matter what colours, I'm into them all!

I have several swatches of NYX Nudes on my blog if you want to check them out just click the link! I think about 7 or 8 lipsticks total. Hope it helps.

I'm going crazy for their Round Lipsticks. I know they have others slightly higher priced but I just love these ones I don't feel the need to try the others yet.

Yes! The palettes. I plan on buying my Mom the Blues from the For Your Eyes Only collection and perhaps Champagne and Caviar. They seem like her type. I may have to get some for myself too 'cause they're gorgeous. Deary me!

I also want to try some lipliners, I saw someone post that Mauve would be a good one for a lot of colours, anyone else have suggestions?

NYX White and Champagne are my two favorites! Champagne is more pigmented than MAC All that Glitters and they are almost identical. I should post some swatches, I have been meaning to do NYX and MAC dupes because I have a few of both.

NYX Golden is really pretty! It's the MAC Amber Lights look alike.

NYX Luxor is really pretty too if you like bright colors

Hi! For nude lipsticks, I think some of the more popular shades are Circe and Summer Love!

Can't really help with single eyeshadows because i end up buying their trios! :p

Re: NYX jumbo pencils

I had two of these, in Milk and Slate. The milk is fine, as long as you blend it real well. Now I just used it on my lid (not past the crease, or else it will crease) and under brow bone before I put my highlighter. I still need a base under it though.

The slate is another story. It creased horribly!!! I tried to put it thinly and blend well, and it still creased. And it kinda defeat the purpose of being a dark base, because the color got so sheer that it didn't really make much difference.

HTH!

Re: NYX jumbo pencils

i think they are good to have as bases. they dont crease on me as long as i pat shadow on top. but they would crease if i were to use it alone. using TFSI or UDPP as a base certainly is a must. Milk is my favourite. eyeshadows go on a lot more vibrant. i only apply these to my lid and not in the crease though

Re: NYX jumbo pencils

Yeah they definitely need primer under. But I always use primer anyway. I have a handful of colors that go with my most used e/s tones, and they all work great as colored bases. Great product for the money.

I am not a fan of the loose e/s, but the regular e/s were cheap and looked really pretty. I might try them next time, hopefully with better results.

Oh, so sad! I have another experience: I love them all (the ones I´ve got!) The colours are great...

I tried these, and it creased terribly! Next time I will try it only on the lid, though... I love the colours and the price...

Re: NYX jumbo pencils

I have to put them over UDPP and a paint pot to stop them from creasing on me. So I usually just stick to paint pots. But I ALWAYS use Milk underneath my brow to define it and on the inner corner.

Re: NYX jumbo pencils

I usually only use mine on the lid but if I put shadow over them they are fine. I started with one and now have about 10.

Re: NYX jumbo pencils

I personally separate a "primer" (keeps shit in place) from a "base" (alters/improves color), so using TFSI and THEN some jumbo pencil doesn't bother me. Milk is my favorite; I sweep it under my brows, then rub a little on my fingers and apply it thinly to my lid before I use my shadows.

Re: NYX jumbo pencils

I love my jumbo pencils! They don't crease on me as long as I put a primer underneath and set them with eye shadow - also, be sure not to apply too much product to your lids. You want the jumbo pencil to be sticky so shadow will adhere better, but not greasy.

I had the same experience! Milk is wonderful & I use it everyday, but the 3 others I have (Purple, Dark Brown, and Black Bean) crease every time even though I do the exact same routine.

Re: NYX jumbo pencils

I only have milk of these, and I really like it. I mainly use it as a base when I'm using bright colours, but I find it doesn't crease and has really good staying ability. Also, I don't use it all over the lid, I apply to maybe half my lid and then blend all over the lid and sometimes up to my brow. Otherwise I have a feeling it would crease.

I ordered a few things from their website when they were having the $1 sale. Sadly, I still haven't received anything, and that was a couple of months ago. I want to play with my goodies, darnit! lol

I have the whole set of Jumbo pencils... this summer when I got them they were awesome! Easily blendable, creamy, smooth, never creased... and now I found that 6 or so months later, some of them have dried up and are no longer soft and easy to blend
ssad.gif
they break off in pieces on my eyelid and are very hard to work with. Sad but I guess that's what you get for how cheap they are
smiles.gif
Still a great deal and fun to brighten up eyeshadow with!
