If you go to expensive stores, even just for fun, you ought to do an experiment. Go in one day in jeans and a t-shirt, then go in another day fully dressed to the 9s. The kind of service you receive in the latter situation is incredible compared to the casual day. Some people do judge you by how you're dressed

I've done that. It's quite enlightening to see the difference in attitudes.

My favorite thing in the world is to show up at a counter, jeans, t-shirt, ballcap and get horrible treatment from about a million counters and when I find one who will treat me like a human being-while all the other ma's are watching and poking fun I drop like $400 on makeup. My favorite thing in the world is to watch their jaws drop as they think-damn I could've gotton that commission! lol

I only go MU shopping 2x a year though. :/
