That would be disastrous to me. Foundation hunting is exhausting. I mean, MAC SFF and I weren't meant to be friends and I am still trying to find the correct shade in EL DW. I use other foundations like True Match (excellent color match ever but it doesn't last) and Max Factor Lasting Performance (close skin match, but not many shades available), but CS is the one I use when I don't want to worry about my makeup looking good for hours.

Maybe it was old bottles? I have seen some Loreal foundations and others at a very low price (with the bright orange tag) and they have not discontinued them. Hope the sales clerk is wrong about them... **crosses fingers**

I went by my Walgreens today and they had some reduced because revlon has changed the bottle the clerk said....She did not know what the new ones looked like...she also said they have to move things off their self that has not sold within 6 months I am hoping they put it in a tube like this...Hoping!! They should plastic is far less expensive than glass bottles. They had tons of HIP 75% off at mine too...just cause it had been on the shelf for over 6 months

That would be awesome. Also, the previous version of Colorstay came with a pump, right? Maybe they will add a pump. The new Colorstay Mineral Mousse foundation comes in a cool tube, it would be great if they provide also a tube like that. Ah, wishful thinking, lol.

^^ I am not sure...this is my 1st time wearing Revlon...but these bottles do not fit with their new style packaging so I am hoping a nice light no glass container is on the way. Glass with a pump will be just as great too..

I emailed Revlon to see what the real deal is ...Hopefully they will write me back and I will post the answer

Thanks Tish, hope they reply soon!

Maybe we all should email Revlon about it and also ask for a pump dispenser or a tube

I love the glass bottle. But, for those who use them, it would be great if they offered a pump that you could buy separately like a lot of companies do.

I think I might end up getting either the 190 Foundation Brush or the 187 Duo Fibre Brush.

Hi Girl
Do you have the MAC cleanse off oil? Try that on the brush. Make sure that the bristles are NOT wet or else it won't work at all. One or two pumps should do the trick swirl the brush around the oil making sure that the bristles are well saturated and then rinse with warm water. The brush should be good after that. It works perfectly for me so maybe you should try it see what you think. HTH some of you.

In answer to your question I think that it all comes down to personal preference. Some MAC MUA like using the 190 some don't. I have seen this and I guess that's what it is. Anyway I have used both but I noticed that with the 190 I was using ALOT more foundation because the brush would soak it up. However, when I found out about the 187 brush the MUA told me that it was better because it made the foundation look airbrush and you used LESS foundation. So I use this and it works out better for me because I can stipple the foundation onto my skin and when all the areas are covered I just blend it out really good and my skin looks really nice.
Also the 190 brush will give you a heavier coverage than the 187 brush. HTH

Okay... still not sure I'm liking this. I really want to, but I'm a liquid foundation newbie.

I tried applying with a damp wedge sponge, but I felt like the sponge was absorbing it all and none was ending up on my face.

I tried applying it with my fingers, but I'm still not sure if I'm using enough to get the coverage I expected - or if this really isn't going to even me out the way I wanted it to.

I don't know if I want to mess with foundation brushes... So for people here that are using their fingers or a sponge, about how much are you using for your whole face?

I really think for a good application and finish you *may need* to consider a brush. I've done sponge and fingers with liquids and did not like the results. What do you have against brushes? They are not bad--in fact they really make application easy. Try it, you'll like it!
