Shadesticks to be discontinued?!?!

I bet most CCOs have them and most of the colors. I went to mine in Carlsbad, Cali and they had every color. I am not particularly fond of them so didn't get them. Check out your local CCOs!

I so want to get to my CCO!! I finally figured out where it was and was right in front of it last weekend! But, alas, I didn't go in--I was with my father and he was a man on a mission to complete our shopping.

But hopefully I'll get there soon because I adore shadesticks!

It's been discussed before that as of now they are NOT discontinuing shadesticks. They are getting rid of colors that don't sell well.

Hey girls! I went to MAC yesterday right after work and asked the MUA's about the Shadesticks' disappearance: they assured me that they WON'T be discontinued at all !! They told me it was only one of those numerous rumours that has been spread on the internet.

i asked my trainer about this today during update. they are dc'ing the colors that don't sell as well as others. thats why sharkskin has been added to the dc list. i have a feeling that lucky jade and sea me will be next (no official word, just a hunch).

did anyone see that taupographic has the ToD now too!?

So I guess that means Beige-ing will be sticking around...and that's the one that I really love. I'll just get a few of the others once the arrive at CCOs...save me a few bucks!

^If you have a CCO they can show up fairly quickly-my nearest one has a lot of recently DC'ed ones but the freestanding does as well.

I'm sure you're right. They are killing all of the paint and shade stick colours. I would like to think they are doing it for an infusion of new colours, but I am not holding my breath.

ACK... I love shadesticks and paints!!! Why MAC, why? I can possibly live w/o my fave shadesticks, but if/when they DC flammable paint I think im going to DIE... They don't have a pp that matches this color!

i had hoped that they would have come out with new shadesticks as well. but alas, they are killing them all!

i have been stocking up on beige-ing. i have many, MANY backups of it since i use it everyday. rarely do i use another color, or a paint pot, even tho i have almost every color of those as well.

Beige-ing is a great base, but I also love Pink Couture as part of my easy, quick eye look.
