Sooo funny over the weekend, I needed to get a low seat/chair of some kind to go at my new computer desk in our son's old room so DH wanted to look at them at Crate & Barrel - he bought 2 different kinds
a low square ottoman & a regular chair because he thought both would work in the room
dear heavens..that man LOVES to shop in C&B!!! Not many other places though - weird.

^^ Elegant -- Can you believe we don't have a Crate & Barrel here? We have Pottery Barn and Williams Sonoma -- but not Crate and Barrel! I have to order online. My husband loves to shop in all of those stores (although he won't admit it to his man friends) That is cute that your hubs got 2 different kinds of chairs -- are you going to keep them both??
Today I actually branched out and used my Rose Bronze instead of RE! I broke out the Pink Peony glossimer, too . . . which reminds me, my hubs got me these Pink Peony plates from Williams Sonoma for our anniversary: http://www.williams-sonoma.com/products/botanical-peony-tablecloth/ (they are at the bottom if you scroll down) They sold out online, but he found them for me at the store in our mall.
I totally thought of you because I remember you saying how much you like Peonies, too

I cannot believe you do not have a C&B nearby - what a shame. You can buy such lovely gifts there for a reasonable price too. Yes, he wants both chairs
That picture of the table is SOooo beautiful! I love it. I can see what you wanted the plates as they are really really pretty! I do love Peonies. Thanks for reminding me about the Peony gloss, I need to show it some love.

Give them time, maybe Karla pulled her sneak peek down because they had to rename the highlight powder. That's just crazy that the SA expects you travel an hour to show her your Byzance stuff!
I know, shes really somthing else. I had Karla's holiday sheet bookmarked. I need to look at it again.

Michelle, I LOVE that table cloth! Your hubby is so sweet!
I would be all over that too, if our decor didn't take a turn for the dark, at least on the main level. We opted to go with a stained maple cabinet instead of white, then got a dark brown/black counter and also picked dark wood floors, and our decor seemed to follow. The decision was partly based on my OCDness and the kids, and I was warned by the cabinet makers about going with the white with small kids. But the dark floors, as beautiful as they are, I regret. I can see every darn footprint in the summer time, and the dust shows pretty quickly too. I too really love the whole light, Pottery Barn look and the second floor is all nice and light. While in VB, I purchased the pick-stitch quilt from PB in the light blue for our bed and it worked perfectly. Sigh... I could go on and on about home decor!!!
Now back on topic! My list for the fall collection has grown, which isn't a good thing! I definitely want Peridot and Quartz, the JC and the quad to start. Chanel hauls are always much easier on the wallet when I only want to get some lippies and polishes. But as soon as the quads, face powders or blushes are added, it becomes ridiculously expensive! We're heading back to Virginia sometime later in August, so I may try and hold out till then.

Now after following this thread I've bought the Byzance quad, gold blush and all 6 of the Illusions d'Ombres, the prelude quad, RE blush, the 3 polishes and the 2 new glossimers!
What highlighter powder is the one you mentioned, it must be different than the one coming from the Nordstrom event?

Nora -- my sister has dark wood floors and they are gorgeous, too. But I can see how they would be hard to keep clean. Ugggh, we can't have everything the way we want it, dang it!! I love home decor, too -- I just have to do it little by little -- but it would be fun to just be able to get all my projects done at once

Thanks! I love it! I wore it on the lid the other day with a touch of MAC Greenstroke in my crease and it was stunning! Epatante is sparkly so I can see why some people wouldn't like it but that's just what I love.
