Yes, it's not too warm or cool on me either, I was just imagining it cooler. And I agree, it is fairly unique. I'm definitely glad I got it.

Which red lipstick -- do you mean Byzantin? It was a fuchsia disaster on me sadly. I swapped it. I would've loved if it looked on me like it looks on Ingenue.

yes, I was just too lazy to spell it LOL. That ls was surprisingly more fuchsia than what I would have thought. You didn't even like a dab & smoosh sheer look? I'm hoping that the Holiday red ls will be a lovely wearable red.

Is the JC from the fall collection a must have? So far I have purchased the quad, khaki plantine, the cream shadows, and Plumetis (sp?) from this collection. I love them all.
Also I would love to hear thoughts on Etole and the glossimers?

Well, I for one just absolutely LOVE the blush. It would look lovely with Plumetis ls. Its natural looking with some pink. A lot of people loved Etole

I have Orchid Rose JC already. Do you think that they are different enough to have both? I was going to pass b/c I already have Orchid Rose (see edit), but honestly I am not sure.

I am pretty sure that I will get Etole after my next payday. My AMEX is on life support after the Byzance collection & Nordstrom's collection. (I did end up with 3 Joyeuse. I feel like such a make up hoarder.)

Speaking of Rose/Pink blushes

I just got Smashbox's Soft Lights blush in Prism

It is so so pretty on. It's a very soft pearly soft focus medium pink, but very soft in both color & texture. Loves it.

Winthrop, did you get your Nordies stuff yet?

I'm going to pretend I did NOT see this post! That sounds like a really pretty blush! Enabler!!!

Even a slight variance in color means you should have both :)

The Chanel SA told me that Orchid Rose and Rose Ecrin are essentially the same blush.

I put up the first comparison of Illusion d'Ombre and Armani's ETK. Ebouli vs. Lust Red.

How much longer do we have to wait in the UK for this collection? I check Selfridges and Debenhams websites every morning to see if it has gone up yet haha. Also, are the cream eyeshadows permanent? If they are I wont buy them to start with and go test them out whenever I can instead. I just want those Graphite and Peridot nail polishes and the liner. I'm undecided about the quad now, especially with great sounding MAC things coming out and the new UD palette that I want.

I saw it last weekend when we went to Nordies. I fell in love with it at the first swatch - but boo, they were already sold out of it & the other kinda pearly beige one which is also sold out on the smashbox site. I like ordering from the Smashbox site, lots of free goodies & always free shipping.

Hope you are enjoying Summer. Its so stinking hot I cannot stand it. I just came in from watering & weeding - in this great big floppy sun hat

Oh, I am still into red lipstick & always hunting for that "other" perfect red one. I am going to get Chanel's Passion next.

MissQQ - Have you tried Chanels new Nanolotions? There is a serum & cream. I am really curious about it. I think it was an Asia exclusive

Maybe I am glad I didn't take the plunge on that lippie. I really need to find the perfect red one of these days (well, a red that I can pull off) . . .

Byzantin is definitely not a red for red beginners or scaredycats like me! Etole - which red lovers probably wouldn't even consider a red - is one though.

Oh I LOVE Byzantin! It's sooooooooooooo classic. I absolutely adore it. After miles and miles of brown based reds... this one goes all out with a cool blue-red and shimmer to boot!

I am loving my Byzantine also.. I have found it works well with me without any liner and straight out of the tube. It is almost as perfect as my Emotive.

Emotive is another one that didn't work on me. They're just too vibrant for me. I need softer/dirtier colors (and less cool tones).

I agree, as with Ingenue. Does that mean I need Emotive? I almost bought it a few times, and when I finally wanted it, it was out of stocks, and then I forgot about it.

msqq... actually the liquid formula will be used for eyes, cheeks and face as well as lips.

the liquid is creamy but well pigmented and it depends on what you use to apply and the level of colour deposit you want ... and it's waterproof!

I am finally getting the products I dream about!

I discovered the liquid shadow really late so I only have one color, Splash (I think). I haven't been able to find another color in stock that I like. Good to hear something else is coming down the pike.

I wonder if we'll see that released before 0711BEAUTY free shipping expires on 7/29?
[/quote] I am sure you'll love it. It looks very glittery in the pan, but just applies beautifully. It's a muted colour I am sure you will love. I hope ;)
