Yeh we had rain all day today and I felt cold and hungry.
Don't think so, or I do not hope so? :haha: The velvets are supposed to launch in Europe end of September, hope that Chanel will not let us wait this long ;)

Bis -- I hope you get the collection soon! I still haven't gotten the Prelude quad -- it is on my wish list, though. They should have the same release dates internationally!

Oh dear Gawd! I really don't know why I always love brands (MAC; anyone?!) that juggle their launch dates like a mad clown juggles those little balls...
They keep us o our toes and we dance to their tune... So, I decided I will only get the nail polishes. Not sure about the liner, I have Rosemary & Thyme and rarely use it. Does anybody know how close R&T and Khaki Platine are?

I skipped Khaki Platine, but I don't know how it compares to R&T......it was just not that unique, so I skipped it.

I hope you are able to see the collections soon!!! It's terrible you've had to wait this long!!!
Thanks for your feedback, I think I will skip Khaki Platine as well. I mostly use black eyeliner anyways, so I am not sure if I need it.

I passed khaki platine too. I love rose platine because it has a shimmer that will show up on me. I'm afraid KP will disappear on me, further more it isn't smudge proof. I have vert bronze waterproof liner, which came out ith the safari e/s collection, and it doesn't show up.

They're really hit or miss. I just recently tried the Tarte EmphasEYES HD eye pencil in black, and I have to say that I am REALLY impressed. I'm not a big fan of her stuff in general, but this pencil is exceptional. It's very thin, so I'm able to get right into my lash line, and wow, it stayed ALL day. I was shocked when I looked in the mirror after a 9-hour day and it was still right where I put it. That never happens for me. Too bad the color selection is so limited.

Bis -- I really hope you can get your hands on this collection soon! It was like when the Coco Shines came out -- it took forever for them to launch in the US! I am not very good at being patient!

Cheryl -- I want to go take a look at the Tarte EmphasEYES HD eye pencil you talked about. I need a good dark brown liner. I can never seem to find one the right shade -- or one that doesn't smudge! Do they carry it at Sephora??
Neither am I ;) I order the Tarte EmphasEYES liner. I tried the Silk pencil from Armani, the one that so many seem to love and it smears itself all over my face. Seriously. Nothing ever did that. Really curious to see how the Tarte one works, no idea why I am not just happy with Feline :dunno:

The problem you had with the Armani pencil, I had with Feline. Oh my gosh, I looked like a raccoon!! No, not a raccoon, Alice Cooper!!!! I couldn't believe how bad it 'ran'!!!! I've never had that happen with a liner before.

Khaki Plantine is pretty, but it is not a must have. NARS released some new longwear eyeliners, along with their new longwear glosses. I bought the brown & grey pencils, and so far this formual stays put. They are at Sephora, so I suggest checking those out as well.

I am not a devotee of Feline either. It is nice, but it is not worthy of the hype IMHO.

I'm really liking the Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof liners, there's a dark brown one that stays put really well on my waterline. The brown is called Lionfish, you can get that at Sephora.

Hmm.. if it isn't smudge proof, then I don't want Khaki Platine either. I used colored eyeliner a lot (almost all the time) but I don't want anything that smudges :p.

Let's see though... I seemed to lost my interest in buying new MU lately. Somewhat very satisfied with my current stash. Maybe I'm the one who'll change mind when the weather changes ;).

Has anybody tried using Mirifique as a gel eyeliner?

My savings month has gone out the window...definitely heading back to swatch Etole and Khaki Platine again.
It's sooo pretty as a liner! But I have oily AND hooded lids so it transferred straight away to my lids...it's fine once I prime with Nars eye primer though.
