If anyone has both Brash and Aztec Brick--would you mind swatching them side-by-side? That Call Me Bubbles quad keeps, well, calling me, but I don't want to buy anything I have dupes for. I don't wear coral shadows, so I'll probably use that shade as a blush.

A little bummed that new Tendertone shades are not being released with this collec. At least they are back though! One jar lasts forever.
And would'nt it be great if the packaging looked like the boxes?! I love the look of those boxes.

I think that's my only disappointment with this collection. They could have easily used the design of the packaging on the actual products.

ooooh Runaway Red looks beautiful, I have never seen that one before, what collec.did that first come out in?
What are the Kissable Lipcolors like? Like a moisturizing lip gloss/lipstick?
Thankyou

I'm just hoping that:
1. this is the reintroduction of Tendertones on a permanent basis. I don't mind LE stuff, but honestly, why make one of your best and most successful products LE? It's like the Volcanic Ash Exfoliator - who the hell offers skincare as a LE item? What part of routine skincare does Mac not get.
rants.gif

2. Please, please, please may Mac not have fiddled with the original formulation. That would be like drawing a mustache on the Mona Lisa. Just.not.done!
3. For those unfamiliar with Tendertones, yes, they are just a lip balm. They won't take you out to dinner, make you look decades younger or change your life. The thing is they were a wonderfully well made product. The texture, the smell, the product performance <-for all these reasons they are one of my favorite Mac products. In fact, I'd like to see Mac release less collections, but more well-edited collections containing products like Tendertones, more of the new formulation matte lipsticks, beauty powder blushes and eye shadows like the Starflash or Mega Metals. That'll keep people coming back to Mac, great products thoughtfully chosen for a collection, like Cult of Cherry, Barbie or Hello Kitty. They're diluting their brand's value by vomiting forth ill-conceived collections, some of which contain subpar products (Metal-X and Big Bounce eye shadows, for example). Mac already has some really great products in their lineup and they need to start focusing on those products.

Can anyone with pigmented lips and light-medium skintone do a swatch for flaunting it, i reallly like temptalia swatches but her lips aren`t very pigmented and they look different on me. I really like how it looks, and love the color but i`m afraid that on plummy pigmented lips it will look to grey

I know right? Skincare is all about maintenance. How can one maintain if the product will likely be off the shelf soon?

I have Girl About Town so will I need Quick Sizzle too or are they just too similar in color?

I really like my Trophy Big Bounce. its lovely and i can actually wear it on its own unlike Lets Skate which I only use to make other shadows more sparkly.

so since the actual product is not special packaging just the boxes it comes in would this mean we could use pro discount with it or no? Anyone know about this?

I used the last of my Volcanic Ash Exfoliator today and I thought exactly this! Thankfully there is a face wash with volcanic ash in it made by Giovanni that is a nice replacement, but it's far from the MAC item. I thinks it makes no sense because limited edition skin care cannot be part of a regular routine. You have to ration the product out and use it as a special treat only. I held on to the VAE forever!!!

I really agree with your post. MAC is a trend line, constantly evolving; but I feel like so many collections make them come up short on so many different levels.

I wish I had the ability to try VAE but I wasn't into mac as much when it came out. LE skincare doesn't do anything and makes no sense, since the whole point is to create a ROUTINE and stick with it!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope mac will rerelease it AS PERM!

You can use Pro discount with this. The special packaging stuff only applies to things like Hello Kitty, Disney Villians etc...
