Anyone Rouge notice their supposed "3 day shipping" is actually Ground at times?
I agree with novocainedreams (your username is so long J***). I wouldn't be so disappointed if Sephora didn't hype up the program so much. Free shipping isn't a big perk to the US customers because purchase of $50 would get free shipping. Plus there was an option to get free shipping anytime if you paid $25.
Although the Dior lipstick was nice, the retail price would be $32. If you already spend over $1000 great, but it's hardly worth spending $650 more than VIB to get. The early accesses are nice but considering sephora isn't stupid, they tend to make enough for VIBR/VIB AND public purchase. I'm not at that stage in life I feel so much cooler for having makeup 3 days earlier than the rest of the world,
Another pet peeve about the Rouge program is they treat their customers different based on location. If you live in a "hip town" you get more events and goodies than others. I think that sucks. I get they can't do event everywhere because brand reps have to be paid for their time etc, but I feel like they should be able to make samples available online to more Rouge members. If they don't have enough for more Rouge members, don't offer them to certain members only!
Like others have mentioned, I will not try to make VIBR next year. Of course as soon as a whole bunch of people drop from rouge, sephora will probably step it up LOL.

As for purchases, you lose points if you return with receipt or they ask for your BI number when you are returning. If you return something without a receipt and they don't ask for your BI, I think you keep your points....

If you have nail polish or certain liquids/aerosols in your order they can't be shipping 3 day so they have to ship it ground.

Actually I went to my sephora account. All the shipment I've gotten from sephora has been ground before and AFTER I became rouge. There are instances I've ordered lipstick and pressed eyeshadows. Still ground. Always ground. I guess it's okay since I get the package normally in three days...
unless do the 3-day shipping come with insurance?

My list so far. Only a few things at the moment... -The Luxe clarisonic brush head (wasn't too sure if it's worth the extra $3. But I have really sensitive skin so wanted to try it. Has anyone else tried it?) -OCC Deven Green polish -UD Electric palette (MAYBE) going back and forth on it. Might wait till later since it's perm.

I didn't hear about this either!What do you guys have on your lists to buy during the sale? Are you going to any of the in-store rouge event? I'm going but I have nothing that I need to pick up in store, but will make an online order at some point.
I have a smallish list, that including stuff for a few people:
me: Naked 3, MFU brush, Tarte Lipstick (One of the corals, will have to try them on to remember which one).
Friends: Nails Inc Nail polish (new tea party type), Mattnificient tarte pallete, eyeshadow brush
Since Mattnicifcent was LE, it is gone from the website, and most of the stores near to me. So I will be going a ways to a store further out for it, after I attend the Rouge event at a nearer store in the morning. If they happen to have the chesnuts gel polish, I will grab that too since it is also off the website.
I will be attending the rouge event, although sunday morning makes it harder travel wise. For some reason the subway in toronto doesn't really start until 9am in most places, which is precisely when this event starts! erg!

I agree with both of you. It's a loyalty program hence the more money you spend there the more perks you get. I'm a rogue member and have no complaints with the program. Personally, I'm very thankful that I'm getting 15 % off. I've spend a lot of $$ over the years buying from Mac and Chanel and have gotten nothing back from them. It's soo annoying that people always feel they are entitled to more.
