I emailed the gal thats selling the set D and asked all these questions and acted stupid, lol. Thats how I usually first approch them before telling them how much I do know about the products, busting them and or reporting them. I like to get as much info 1st as possible.....thanks for posting that. Is it just me or does it seem like 99% of the new MAC full sellers are selling fakes..no new authentic sellers.

OK! I caught another faker using a NEW eBay ID to sell off their fake MAC shit.

(Also bought stuff from d.i.v.a-la-g.l.a.m - Apparently, she told another buyer "[FONT=arial,sans-serif]i have however had people come to me that have purchased fake samples and fullsize products from that website"[/FONT])

This faker's old username is boomersooners11 (I think.. I checked for the listings from this seller in the thread but it came up as "invalid item/listing" and seller is a no longer registered user).

At times like these, I wish I work for MAC so I can report these fakers to MAC straight away!!

Someone got into my ebay account. I got a strange email today so I logged in to ebay. I found someone had recently clicked on my "personal information" link and once inside clicked on my "password" link. I changed all my passwords to both ebay and paypal ASAP. I dont know how but some of these fake sellers are getting into our accounts. The email I got said "leave me alone or I'll report you to ebay. It was on a normal ebay email page but acourse when I went to respond it wasnt a valid link. I sent it to ebays spam department. I wasnt worried at first until I saw they got into my account......

I know how you guys feel. I am a new Mac collector and purchased what I thought was a 190 brush. I really thought and she had 100% feedback. After my payment went through I received a note from Ebay saying the sale was negated, I couldn't get my money back. Fortunately/unfortunately, I finally did receive my "fake" brush. The seller is no longer listed. I selected a seller from the U.S., but my Paypal went into an account in China. I learned my lesson

I did email a fake seller 2 times, the first time was asking the name of one of her colors. The second email I sent asked for the MAC codes on the bottom of the jar. The first email she replied to and was nice but I never heard back about the second. This was last week. I wasnt mean on purpose cause the fake sellers wont give info at all if approached that way. Thats the only one I've dealt with recently.....

A few weeks ago I emailed another fake one, she was very rude and many others here emailed her also and she was the same with them...so I have no idea. I dont email them too much cause then they know what we are up to. so everyone BE CAREFUL PLEASE

^^ Those are spoof/spam emails that people send you to try and get your user name and password. If you click on their links and input your info, that's when they get your information. Unless you put your info using their link, they won't be able to get into your account. I usually get about 2 or 3 of those emails a day!
2 things you can do:
1. To check and see if these are authentic (came directly from Ebay), don't answer them from your emails. Log into your Ebay account, and you will be able to see if there is a message from Ebay in your messages, if there is then it's authentic..if not, then it's someone trying to get your information!!
2. If you are ever in doubt on where the email originated, either forward the email to [email protected], or [email protected] (depending on where the email came from). They will get back to you extremely fast and be able to tell you if this is an authentic email.

I did all of that since I too have gotten many over the years. I sent it to ebay and didnt answer anything but they were still able to get into my account. This is the 2nd time in 2 years. Has this happened to anyone else who's taken the steps Makattack mentioned? I noticed when I was in the habit of changing my passwords on a regular basis I stopped getting spoof emails from ebay and paypal. I guess it's time to start that again..

How in h- - - are these sellers able to get away with this!! why are authentic sellers being removed and the fake aren't. Someone mentioned they have someone in the inside of ebay and also ebay doesnt want to lose anymore money. I recently bought blue painters tape from 2 different sellers. One got here fast & the other flaked. It's sad cause years ago I felt safe buyer their but now it seems like the fakes/bad sellers are in every department...
