I think the new fall quad, Enigma, would be fantastic! It's got a deep taupe and eggplant color! Perfect for green eyes.

Hey ladies!
Took a bit to catch up! I decided to go see SATC last night with a girlfriend, so didn't have my nightly wind down time on here!. Not usually one to go see movies, let alone on the first weekend. Last movie I saw was the first SATC!!! Glad I went though, liked it better than the first.
So I'll probably be busy with my TTB stuff for a while, but with the big ass haul that I did, i got enough points to get a $30 gc, so Exquise will definitely be coming home with me sometime soon!

Based on Shypo's swatches, I think I'm going to have to hunt down Mystic Eyes and Winter Nights quads. I'm pretty sure I saw Winter Nights still at one of the Chanel counters. Dunno about Mystic Eyes.

Kaska Beige has been on my "to buy" list for a while, but with all of the recent comments it sounds like maybe it's a no go for me. I have so many e/s and MAC quads that I figure if I don't like all 4 colors in a Chanel quad I'm passing on it. The swatches have sold me on Mystic Eyes though, so I'm back at 4 quads on my wish list!

So you have problems with the colour in Kaska Beige too. I thought there was some problem with me or something.
The other three colours are ok, but it is not a quad I reach for a lot, like Oasis. I love, love that silvery taupe shade in Mystic Eyes. It already has a big dent in the ball of shadow because I use it a lot.

So you have problems with the colour in Kaska Beige too. I thought there was some problem with me or something.

I have Winter Nights and ADORE it. Chanel does a great job with neutral quads - they're neutral, but not boring. This particular quad is a great example of that. Highly recommended. I have Kaska Beige and like it a lot, but find myself reaching for Winter Nights more.

Yes! The quad is called Quator Boutons de Chanel and it looks to have a peach, a mid-tone brown, a light brown and a sort of rust color (from a xerox copy of a photo)....I don't know about the np.......

Another really nice everyday quad, imo, is Spices, at least for those with neutral to warm undertones like me. Here's a nice picture from VenusReinvented on MUA - it shows Spices (L) next to Kaska (C) and Winter Nights (R). It's a little washed out but if you have any one of the 3 you have a reference to compare with:

Ahhh, I complained about YSL's $34 Rouge Voluptes and then I go out shopping and spring for a Tom Ford lipstick ($45!!!). Companies know that the way to my heart = pretty packaging. Argh!

I have given up on Genial. Instead, I ordered a Nars lipstick called Niagara. It's a bright peachy coral, also. It will have to suffice. Plus, I fond Nars lipsticks pleasing since there's no scent or taste.

Actually I was going to get Phoenix, but the Chanel girl (a young one!) said, oh with your dark hair & really pale skin you should get Dragon - its Gwen Stefanie's new signature red lip. They featured it in I think Allure? I'm thinkin - nah, I can't do a GS lip - until I patted it on (I had MAC's Blood Red ls on already) yep, I needed it
ugghh, & then she couldn't find it (computer said they still had 5) What is up with Nordstroms. Last time I went they couldn't find a blush I wanted. arrgghh. So, I got it at Saks

ok, I reswatched Deep Taupe (gorgeous) HR (still loved), Vanilla, Lily - they swatched different in Nordies than in Saks. I couldn't get them to show in Nordies, but saks had such awesome payoff - even the sheer ones
oh Shontay - No Genial - nothing anywhere. All of them have done away with the displays
