MAC - Colour Craft Discussion

I probably won't be getting anything from this collection..maybe one msf but that's only if i decide to visit the mac counter. So, more money to save for makeup art cosmetics. The hard part is waiting for the other collections to come out.. i get bored after not buying new mac for a little while

Im soooo excited for this to come out!

Really just because me and my mom are gonna go to the Pro store down here the Saturday after it releases. I really only want Triple Fusion or Smooth Merge, but i cant wait!

Actually, now that i think about it, one of the MES did catch my eye, but all i keep thinking about is the loads of fallout which is always a bummer

Ugh well, my hospital just declared a healthcare emergency for the foreseeable future, and thus the collective agreement with regards to scheduling and hours is out the window, particularly for us ICU specialists. We are going to be ridden wet and hard and hung out to dry (ie: work ridiculous hours) Soooo...here's hoping I will see the light of day sometime in the next three months so I can get my paws on this collection!!

think of the extra pay you will get though! and dont you have the magical mac store where there are lots of LE items left............

all this talk of porcelain pink makes me want it. it sounds as though it will give me a really nice glow, which i really would like.

i am really not into the degrade MSF, i just love the old original formula/layout of them. ah, the feeling of digging through the drawers at MAC to find the perfect MSF!

i am starting to get a wee bit excited for this collection that i havent felt before

I have both, and I find them sufficiently different from each other. Whereas Warmed shows up fairly peachy on my NC25 skin, Cheeky Bronze shows up a little pinker, more coral tones. Warmed also has a slightly smoother and less metallic texture than Cheeky Bronze. HTHs!

I'm back after playing around with what I bought!

Cheeky Bronze is nothing like Redhead and Refined - those 2 are waaaay more sheer. Or maybe because my Cheeky Bronze has almost no veining in it, that's why it swatched a lot more pigmented than the tester at the counter. Cheeky Bronze is most similar to Earth To Earth grand duo (which in turn is similar to Nuance MB) and the 2nd stripe of Brunette MSF - although Cheeky Bronze has a distinctive gold sheen to it. It is actually very similar to Gold Rebel l/g when swatched.

Nice Mix Up l/g is a cross between Utterly Posh d/g and Gold Rebel l/g. It has the coral color of Utterly Posh but also the undeniable "gold-ness" of Gold Rebel. If you already have Utterly Posh you can probably skip this because they are rather similar.

After checking out this collection, the blushes and lip products are truly stellar. The eyeshadows were not very impressive. They were super flaky and I got poor color payoff. Plus, a lot of the colors seem like old mes colors to me. Seriously trimming talk is the best hot pink lippie ever! You really have to see this in person, pics don't do it justice. And eclectic edge, omg! It's like up the amp in lipgloss form. I am sooooo excited for this collection to come out

hey can anyone advice me on which MSF or blushes to get from this collection for my skin tone. i am a NW45/50 during the summer and deep dark studio mist. i was wondering if you guys could help me? thanks everyone.

Good memory! Yes I have the magical mac store that has LE items till eternity lol. Overtime is good $$$, because it's double time for us. But working 16-20 hr shifts in full isolation regalia with extremely ill critical care patients, not so fun. They've been trying desperately to keep our icu the last clean icu in the province but MICU is almost 100% isolation as are the other icu's in the city, so they've gotta go somewhere. This is of course on top of our usual load of ICU patients, with same staff numbers. They're pulling anyone who ever worked in an ICU in the last 20 years and mandating them to our units. Senior management? Who cares, report in to the ICU please, lol. As they pull more peripheral staff to handle the icu overflow, outpatient clinics and wards go short staffed or close. Not pretty. But anyway, we're expecting the worst is still at least 4 months away! Heh, this could get interesting.

You know what I love most about this collection? Amongst all the golden/bronze MSFs and blushes, I am bound to find a dupe for my beloved Otherworldly blush. I flove that thing.

they aren't alike at all!

i have aloof and like it. CC is more pastel

its closer to snob, but how close i'm not sure.

goodness! what has caused this? surely not swine flu? im lucky that radiology never gets like that, even though we get super duper busy.
20hours at work -eeek! but then i have horror nights on call when ive only just left work in the morning when everyone else is arriving at 8am. but oh so rewarding!
