Hi Layla - I can try and take a stab at TFG description - this isn't an easy one to describe. I'm happy to say I was the first one to pounce on that tester, so I did let the MA sterilize it and gave it a try on my lips. First off, it's a lustre finish, but very sheer, almost more like a glaze. Fresh Salmon this isn't, in terms of opacity. It's very creamy and moisturizing feeling, which is great for anyone who usually finds lipstick too heavy or uncomfortable. This is the first thing anyone is going to notice trying it on.
The color is nude, rather than flesh toned; like comparing pantyhose to bare skin. It's about 2 shades lighter than Call My Bluff, with a very slightly pink undertone and no grey or other "dirty" cast - it's a clear color. It also doesn't have any milky or whitish undertones - again neutral and clear with low to medium opacity, not shiny like a gloss, but definitely creamy and moist looking.
I found it to be a color that blends with your natural lip tone, rather than doing anything to cancel or neutralize its color. This makes it ideal for lighter colored lips. From Layla's picture, her lips are about half as pigmented as mine and you can definitely see the true color of TFG on her - it looks only a little bit pinker on her lips than it does in the tube or on the hand.
For more pigmented lips, I don't think it's going to give enough bang for your buck. A better option would be You've Got It cremesheen lipglass (from In The Groove), which, while milkier, also gives more coverage and cancels out the pigmentation....the end result is rather similar. Also take a look at the Fabulous Fantasy lip kit, which has a nude that's an amplified and a couple of options that may be better for darker or redder lips (I didn't try any of these on, just swatched them on my hand).
My personal verdict is I'm waiting for the Kissable Lip Colours coming up in Peacocky and if Super, Woo Me, So Vain or Flaunting It are still not perfect, there will be more options as the spring and summer go along. With these subtle shades, it's better to just wait for the perfect ultimate match, like with red lipsticks only more so. But if you have paler lips (and probably a little pinker, warmer skin tone), TFG could definitely be HG material, like it is for Layla!
