that's weird. it started with HK that we were told to NOT substitute cuz only the items in the collection can be in the displayer. we can't put perm colours with a collection unless its part of the collection.

Here in Singapore they use the Sold out sticker, and I actually prefer this.
Sometimes part of the collection doesn't reach here and so they put something from the perm line in the displayer and I find it so misleading, now I always read the name before had.

But I'm really loving this collection, I'm thinking to buy some other colours, like Ego and maybe a b/u of Smoke & Diamonds.

I did buy something.... I bought Ego

They were already sold out of Unbasic White and Strike a Pose 2.5 days after the launch, and they only had 1 Fashion Groupie left...

on the bright side they had just had a delivery of the Makeup Art Cosmetics collection so I got to dig through the boxes with my MA to take a look at the colours

When M.A.C. releases 2 collections for one item only they usually become permanent: MEs, dazzleglasses..

I wish they do the same thing to Starflashes. Maybe next year.

I'm also wearing Rated R today, and I love it! I paired it with Go (and Vanilla to highlight). Starflash is without a doubt the best eyeshadow finish, it is just so easy to work with and the colours are so vibrant.

I wonder what is is about chartreuse/lime on the eyes but it goes with any lipcolor: Barbie Pink, Dark Berries, peaches or light pinks. I don't find this with other colors on me.

I have been using style snob and black russian almost everyday this past week. I love both of those colors so much. I really hope that MAC thinks about making the pearlglides and these shadows perm.

Check out the CCOs because that is where I picked up black russian and molasses. Plus they are only $10.25 so it saves a bit.

1 month later...and I'm still loving this collection!

I still get so excited whenever I think about these little pots.

Something about the texture and vibrancy of these shadows makes my mind not see these like eye shadows but more like must-haves-in-my-life. I can't help but think I need to go back for more shades & get back-ups.

Now these pearlglide liners, can someone please tell me if these are MAC's most budge proof/smudge proof liners? Or are there better liners that I need to be aware of? I hate liners that transfer to the top of my lid.

I'm mainly interested in black liners so I need to know if I need to get Black Russian and perhaps multiples of before it's too late.

I think people are saying the technakohls are the best smudgeproof ones.

Black russian is pretty. On me, it is a tad dark grey.

i got my FIRST MAC eyeshadow

Strike a Pose, it was the last one in the store.. is it normal for the eyeshadow to have a small nick kinda thingy? The hetchmarks are visible throughout but one mall area has a small nick kinda thing.. i may have to return it if thts the case

The pearlglides are amazing!! They are the best eyeliners that I've ever tried. I might need a backup of Black Russian as well as Smoke & Diamonds and Style Snob.

Yep I backed the liners up with no problems! Eyeshadows I am not sure if I want to back up or not because I have a lot anyway and I honestly don't know if I would go through one or not lol
