Re: True Or False?? Im Confused!!!

they are marketed as non-flaking, non-creasing, non-fading without a base. i always use a base for all shadows, no matter the finish. on everyone! try it without one and see what it does on you. adding a base only takes 2.2 seconds, so no biggie if you have to use one, right?

I don't have promblematic lids, however what's the hurt in using a primer? It basically insures your eyeshadow will stay put and be vibrant.

Me too...If I don't use one, the color will be gone in about an hour....which makes me very unhappy

I actually used Glamour Check with out a primer one night and it last. It probably depends on how oily your skin gets.

Primer will provide a truer color along with ease in application. Also the color will last longer.

Yum, I got my package yesterday, as so many others I am in love with the finish, and most of the colors. The purples and pinks are so pretty I don't know if I pull them off but the finish is fine enough that they're not overly bright if you don't want them to and they blend so well its easy to swip smoke and diamonds over top in a thin layer to mute them a lil. I'm slightly in love... well as much as you can be with eye shadows

I always use a base no matter what either. It doesn't feel right not putting one on.

Is anyone else getting a LOT of fallout with these? So far I've only used my Go and Grand Entrance, but they seem to have more fallout than my other MAC shadows.

TIA

I'm using Go and don't have fallout... but I use it lightly, so that may be why.

I pack on my Go! with a synthetic taklon concealer brush so I don't get fallout... though I can see that I might get fallout if i used another brush

my MA used a 242 brush when she swatched me in the store

I've got Grand Entrance, but haven't had fallout issues with it. I always use a base though.

No fallout here. I did make the mistake of treating them like a lustre; that is really packing it on with the 239 or 219 brushes. No need to pack it on, the finish is like butter and the color distributes evenly and consistently....

Iused sunset b and smoke and diamonds without a base before and it really didnt come out well at all, the colors were so light and barely there.
