I have been reading the thread and thought I would share my haul. Initially, I had planned to only get the 131 brush and Flurry of Fun. Flurry of Fun is very pretty in person. I bought it to wear over Dressmaker l/s and unfortunately, it gave me the powdered donut effect. Not cool. So, I tried it with the 85% liner and it is beautiful. I haven't tried the 131 brush, yet but I plan to use it with my mineralized blush.

I also got Float On By e/l, Humid e/s, Sweet and Punchy e/s, and In the Buff n/p. I was concerned that Float on By would be similar to Undercurrent. On my skin, Float on By appears more blue, which I love. I have been wanting Humid for a while so I got it. I will be wearing Sweet and Punchy to pop a neutral look. I was on the fence with In the Buff, but it is actually a nice neutral on me. I am an NC42 for reference.

Congrats of getting Lazy Day! I love it and I have Bombshell as well. I think Lazy Day is way prettier IMHO. I think I'm just not a frost girl? Anyways you will defiantly notice a difference in the color. I tried to take a picture of both of them but my camera just isn't cooperating today.

the silver glitter to it. I use gloss sparingly so I don't see alot of silver sparkle..just enough though. I thought splashing was close/would be close to english accents

so I didn't even look at it

Thanks for the help! I think i'm going to go with easy lounger. I wasn't sure about the sheer color, but silver sparkle sounds pretty!

Same here! Flurry of Fun and Funbathing keep calling my name! I really, really don't need a backup of Easy Lounger but it's just so darn pretty.

I lost my swap virginity yesterday...
I swapped my BNIB Coco pigment for 2 bnib marine life and a nude rose lipstick. We weren't sure who should send first since, one, we were on two different levels, she's swapped hundreds of times, and I've sold hundreds on times. So, we decided she'd give me a $75 deposit until it got there and then I'd refund as soon as I got my item.
smiles.gif

Who do you think got the better end of that deal? I think I did!
smiles.gif

I've never heard of someone putting a security deposit on a swap, but I'd HATE to get screwed out of any of those items. heh

You are not alone! I'm not interested, either. But then, light pink lipsticks can be trying for me; I think I'm not quite pale and not quite tan enough to pull off soft pink looks. Gaga is enough work for me, what with messing with lipliners and gloss toppings, so I don't need another pink!

And for someone who wasn't particularly interested in this collection prior to launch, I actually bought quite a bit. I went back yesterday for more -- a Flurry of Fun back-up, Easy Lounger, Beachbound and Thrills.
mac_haul.gif

In total, I hauled Flurry of Fun, Funbathing, Marine Life, Sun Rush l/d, Hipness, Sweet & Punchy, Firecracker, Temperature Rising and the above list.

And to think -- I had planned last week on only buying Flurry of Fun, Funbathing and lustre drops. How does this always happen to me?

Today I kept it simple and wore some foundation with Sun Rush and Marine Life. I love this combo. I think Sun Rush works better, and you really see the difference, when you use it with another product. So ladies who don't see a big difference, use it with a blush (whether it's a matte, satin, or shimmery one and don't be afraid of colors outside of ones similar to Sun Rush).

Marine Life is still perfect. I think I think I am passed the gold overspray on certain portions of the powder and I don't even care because this blush is just amazing. I truly wish it was perm b/c I can tell you now, I won't be using another blush this summer. It's a good thing I got 2. You know a product called Marine Life will not be made into a year round product.

I went to Macys in NYC and they had Marine Life on display. I didn't even ask if they still had it b/c I HIGHLY doubt it. For some reason, they continue to display things they don't have. It's like their begging for a scolding. Poor ladies who got so happy for a second thinking they had it

I'm going to be waiting until the end of the month. I've decided to put myself on a no buy until July otherwise I'm not going to be able to save anything this month.

I was amped for this collection and now I am keeping 1 thing, Firecracker.

I went in looked at the collection and I bought Weekend bronzer, Get away Bronze and Firecracker e/s. I didn't get a lot b/c I could justify not getting any of it; I could dupe it or it's permanent line for e/s.
Now I was most excited about the cream bronzers and I bought Weekend and Get away bronze, was all like,

but I get home and in direct sun and I see glitter. I hate cheek glitter, love shimmer but cheek glitter is a no for me.

So I move on to the GAB blush, peachy tan color, so pretty swatched but applied to cheek, glitter. I just have to learn to buy Satin, Matte, BPB, or the very good low shimmer MB'S, that they put out anything else I hate on me

I am on no buy for all lip products even though FoF and Splashing are so tempting. I will just have to pet my Electric Fucshia and just wish she were orange with teal glitter.

Grr...I think I went to 3-4 MAC stores today, including counters, and all were sold out of Marine Life. I went to Bloomies and the guys said he just sold the last one minutes before me
ssad.gif
A few of them sold out of Hipness too but I got the last one at my last MAC stop.
ssad.gif

Oh, well...I'll have to keep calling & searching.

I really liked the darker side by itself, together they did nothing for me. I think MAC should make the darker color permanent, even pro permanent, they just need to call it something else. That would be really cool. They could even make a pigment out of it.

Aren't they suppose to put a sold out sticker on it. The MAC and Nordies I went to had sold out stickers on them. I can see the need to displa,y it still. Its the highlight of the collection in presentation and popularity.

I think Gaga is WAY more work than Lazy Day. Gaga is really cool, so that (and Snob, and even Angel) take work for me. Lazy day really is, well.. lazy! A really easy soft pink, IMO.
