So can anyone tell us what this magically liquid powder stuff is. Im assuming is a highlight like a glimmershimmer or like lustre drops and dries to a powder like the texture of a highlight powder?

Anyone else got a different Idea?

Somebody mentioned earlier in the thread that it is indeed a highlighter that is [I think] in liquid form but on application sets to powder. Meant to give a cooling sensation : /

lemme see: I already have the Bite of an apple blush, the lilac ES, the red amplified lippie.. I am thinking that if I post the products, maybe you can all ID them for me? I have some with names, and some which are nameless.. so I am going to need help

I still think the MAgical powder is a remake of the old PX powder -- which felt wet on application and then dried into a soft/sheen. But I can't be sure.

This is not really new technology -- an Italian company who I do work for has had it for awhile.

Yeah the product description sounds exactly like what a Prescriptives product called Magic does. It's a loose powder that gives like a luminous effect and it feels like cool water on the skin but dries to a powder finish in like a second. It's a really neat product!

Again...mac disappoints me

Which I guess is a good thing for my pocket book, but after reading the product descriptions I am not excited anymore. There are some things I will get most def...however I just expected more out there, creative products and these just seem like the same ol sh**

And..the packaging I hate...it looks like lil girl makeup from the toy store...

Sorry to be so harsh...but I was looking forward to this. BLAH

Oh I know!

I work for Clinique and they would never have a girl at PX so I had to cross sell it a lot. EL can be very evil sometimes.

I agree with being underwhelmed. I saw the sophisticated sketchy cool look and thought maybe the sketch would be metallic silver, red or purple depending on the character with a matte black case. I guess as an artist myself I have high expectations. Oh well, I don't buy for packaging. Some of the colors are lovely and I am new to MAC so the reissues are new to me. I'm making a list but I am trying to keep it reasonable. I don't really care for the packaging at all. I won't cover or depot it but I won't be in love with it either. I got spoiled with Liberty of London, that was my first collection so it set the bar high.

I thought there would be a few pigments for this collection.

A shimmery true red and a shimmery deep purple one.

I am interested in the mirror, too, but will most likely get Cruella's beauty powder instead.... Don't know why that is a fair substitution but it clicks in my head.

Plus, like I have mentioned before, I am not the hugest fan of Disney. Love Disney, but obviously not as much as some people.

Like many of you, I am not crazy about the packaging, but I don't think it's terrible either. It's just not very creative, and neither are a lot of the colors. But that could have been by design. Disney and MAC probably wanted to ensure that the products would sell, so that could have been why they chose unoriginal colors and packaging.

Based on descriptions, I am interested in Heartless l/s, Toxic Tale l/s, Her Alter Image e/s, Hot House Deep l/g, Revenge Is Sweet l/g, and Cajun Magically Cool Liquid Powder. This could all totally change when swatches come out!!

Check out the promo picture for Tartan Tales - maybe that is the blush you are waiting for....

I'd seriously suggest you check out New Vibe in In the Groove, though, since Bi-Tone from Too Fabulous gives me that perfect healthy red cheek and New Vibe looks the same, except will be more satiny and easier to select only the rose side from.

I get compliments on how healthy and pretty I'm looking every time I wear that darn blush & I love it dearly - but is it a Mineral Blush, so I guess that's the drawback for some.
