Shadesticks to be discontinued?!?!

Dang it why is all the stuff I like getting the axe? :/ First reading about woodwinked and now this - I *just* started getting into using shadesticks for my e/s bases and I really like them

Crap it all. I had read online somewhere (forgot who or where) that some of the shadesticks were being dc'd because it irritated some people's eyes? (no idea if this is true or not) I didn't think they would eventually just wipe them all out :/

Aww I'm sad they're discontinuing these. I love shadesticks because they're soooo easy to use. I love paints and paintpots too, but sometimes I'm just too lazy to fiddle with a brush. I should stock up soon if there are any of these left at my store.

I don't own any shadesticks, they're on my to buy list, but I fear by the time I'll get round to getting some they'll be gone.

I love the shadesticks. I have corn and use it all the time. I guess I have to look around for one. Always needs a backup.

I just saw that!!! Im gonna run out and get them asap!!! I somehow managed to get the last corn shadestick that was at my mac store which is amazing since i think it was already off the website at the time. I dont use my shade sticks a lot but they are so handy for travel rather then paint pots that you need brushes for.

UPDATE!!! So i ran out to get those shadesticks and they had already rtv'd them!!!

your best bet if you want them is the mac webiste which is what the ma told me. apparently they had just been waiting for all the stock of royal hue and silverbleu to run out and hadn't sent a new shipment in months.

Thats crazy. I still have my Mangomix shadestick that I got a long time ago, I use under my MAC Coppering e/s. I actually have a love for the Urban Decay Primer lotion now as an excellent base. It really makes your colors pop and not crease. I use Improper Copper Cream Colour Base too. But as some of you prob know. the CCB tend to crease.......which sucks meng.

I better go out and buy Corn while my MAC counter still has them! I've been meaning to buy another one after I watched my sister break mine (my heart sank and I desperately tried to salvage it but to no great effect). I love the shadesticks but don't use them very often hence why I haven't bought a new shadestick yet. I find them great for travelling, if I'm going to visit a friend for a day or two, I pop a couple of shadesticks in my bag because they are just handy for travelling!

I only have MangoMix and Sharkskin but I really like them! I too feel as though they give me more control than paints/paint pots!

I'm really sad about the shadesticks. I only own Sea me, Lucky Jade and Corn. I still haven't gone out to replace my corn one yet (that my sister broke) so hopefully they will have some at the end of the week when I have time to go shopping! Whyy would they discontinue Corn? From the sounds of it, it's one of the more popular colours too...

Royal Hue went from ToD to off the site over the last couple of days. Glad I picked one up last week.

Also, at the SF pro store they still had a TON of corn shadesticks. I'm going to stock up on all the discontinued/ToDs that I don't have next week.

Well, crap, Beige-ing has been my staple for the last three years.

The good news is I like paint pots (they're more blendable and easier on my eyelids than the shadesticks are), and UDPP is a great substitute as well (it doesn't make shadow brighter like Beige-ing does, but it does make shadow stay on all day without creasing or fading like you wouldn't believe).
