I'm really shocked about their customer service - and it seems, after Inglot you get all the weirdo SAs in one week! Enjoy your goodies!

(I'm quite convinced that people just don't pay attention. Either on the phone or via Email. I had to send some emails to all the guests to the wedding guests at the wedding I'll be attending in two weeks, and the replies strongly suggested that most of the people didn't bother to read the whole thing. I got the most random replies!

I'm supposed to get my package today - should be here before 10:30 if it comes FedEx. Keeping my fingers crossed! If I didn't get it all, it sounds like I'll have other opportunities - I am not overly concerned now.

And I agree - people are so busy, and there's so much sensory overload, that it's impossible to afford attention to details. Sometimes we need to stop and smell the roses!

about everything everywhere. Although, I don't ever remember anyone mentioning the cake liners.

Doing the happy Chanel dance. Per my Nordies Chanel MUA Byzance has been shipped to them and they expect it any time. Looks like I will pick up Byzance, Fall and Anniversary on the same day.

I've been following this thread but I'm still so confused. Can anyone please clear it up for me? I thought the Byzantine Collection would only be sold at boutiques? I do know that Bergdorff's will have it but Nordies will too? What ever happened to that $250 item?

The $250 item was an uber-limited edition eye shadow compact that was part of the collection, but only intended to have limited availability in certain (not all) boutiques. The other items listed above are also LE, but supposedly will be available at boutiques, beauty counters and online.

I wonder if we should start a color story thread like we have for MAC - that lists the products in the collections and the prices, but doesn't allow 'chatter'? It might make it easier to find things?

There was actually a lot of confusion regarding the Byzance collection. I don't know all of the Chanel boutiques that will be getting it -- I did read that the big Nordstrom in Seattle is gettiing it. I don't think most Nordstroms will be carring it. I think that $250 palette sold out -- it is now going for gazillions of dollars on Ebay!

Shypo~I was looking for the same information last night and having trouble finding prices for this collection and gave up. I think it would be a very good idea.

Our Nordstrom counter is not carrying the Byzance Collection. They are doing their anniversary sale and still expecting in their fall collection. Our Lord and Taylor doesn't even carry Chanel and Macy's only has the summer collection. So far the Chanel website does not have this collection listed, though they told me it would be available today. If they don't hurry up I won't bother. This is as frustrating as a MAC sale, most of which I usually end up being disappointed with. Grrr...

I am up and I am up early. Nothing up on the Chanel site for Byzance. I stayed online until 1am this morning hoping, and still they haven't got it up.

Sigh....

I'm with you. Is it sad that I made sure not to make any plans today so I could stalk the site? >_> This just as bad as a MAC release, but I think someone mentioned a while back that there typically isn't a stampede with Chanel stuff as there is with MAC, which is good.

Enjoy! Can't wait for you to try them. You bought so many things they should give you some samples! Whenever I purchase any HE makeup, I always ask for samples. I notice with the chanel SAs, most of them will not give me any samples unless I ask for it. And usually I will get just 1 or 2 tiny samples. But I know when you guys order online there are always lots of great samples.

^^ Well...we can choose 2 samples from 3 or 4 listed. Sometimes there are good ones but other times I have so little interest in the options (like all mens' fragrances plus an inappropriate foundation shade) that I choose none. I want that flower too!

So Shypo...do you find Rouge JC to be warm or cool toned on? I fear with all those beautiful goodies you will be off playing with them the rest of the day and not check back here for hours and hours!
