That is amazing.....I did not even use any set powder because i wanted to see how it worked solo....It is a perfect match...I do think while the BOGO special is going on at walgreens I may go get another set...How can you beat two bottles for $13 ...The application is very light but the coverage is amazing......

I want to be honest and say this is my 1st time ever using a DS foundation...and I am truly amazed how much better it feels than SFF...I may be slowly letting go of my Makeup Snob ways....

Oh yeah...I mean....SFF doesn't even compare. Really. This is a better color match, it doesn't transfer, it really is water resistant. I am quite impressed. I am with the poster who said it rivals MUFE HD.

^^ I actually like it better than MUFE HD...which did not work so well for me colorwise....I literally am in shock over this..I know it's because I have never worn DS and it is amazing to me that it could work so well....But I really like it ....and let me tell you what I tried ....I had a empty SFF bottle so I cleaned it out and poured it in so I could use the pump and it works perfectly

I wasn't a fan of MUFE HD either. Actually, let me restate that. When I first tried it I used a 187, WHICH IS THE WRONG BRUSH TO USE. The foundation is already sheer and 187 sheers it out more. No. It's okay with a synthetic foundation brush. The color match was fine. But, for me the coverage just wasn't there. It's supposed to be buildable but I don't like to apply layer after layer of foundation to achieve the coverage I want.

Yup, Studio Fix fluid would tend to separate on any oily areas of my face. It would give a cracked-desert surface look, while simultaneously being oily! With ColorStay, that never happens.

And sheering it down with moisturizer is ah-mazin'. It creates a longer lasting tinted moisturizer!

I also love that it doesn't reflect light too much in photographs. Now if only I would get tan already so I can wear Golden Beige! Mixing has been kind of a pain, but it's worth it.

Girl, yes! First off, he looks like Michelle from Destiny's Child but aside from that he is so androgynous. He cracks me up!

I applied it with a sponge because there was no pump...but I used the 187 to even it out

Re: Revlon Color Stay Foundation

I bought this yesterday. Im an NC25 and NC30(when i was going tanning) but I stopped. So im NC25 now and I got (Golden Beige) It goes well with my light olive skin if only it was just a tad lighter but thats ok because I set the foundation with a very light powder and it evens it out perfect. I just wonder if maybe I can mix it with another color what would you ladies recommend?

Re: Revlon Color Stay Foundation

I love the effect this foundation has on my skin (I'm using a blend of Buff and Sand Beige at the moment). I'm applying it with the Beauty Blender because it gives me a sheerer coverage.

But is anyone finding it a total pain to remove at the end of the day?! None of my usual oil-based makeup removers are doing the trick (I've tried Clinique's and Lancome's), and my cleansers don't do it either, when I go over my face with a wet towel after, I still notice some foundation coming off! Eek!

How is everyone finding it best to remove this?!

oh man, I'm going to have to try this! I love SFF but it's just too dark for my skin, not too dark, but I can't stand foundation that doesn't match perfectly to my skin. I'll definitely have to pick this up!

Re: Revlon Color Stay Foundation

I love this foundation, but it KILLED my brushes. Even MAC brush cleaner couldn't remove it properly from my 190, and it stained my 187. Shame, because it had great coverage and sand-beige was perfect for my NC25 skin.
I've gone back to using studio tech now which to be honest I like just as much if not more.

Re: Revlon Color Stay Foundation

i just bought two bottles of this foundation this morning, 2 for $13.29 at CVS

I bought 2 different formulas

1. 400 Caramel w/ SPF Normal/Dry
2. 400 Caramel Combo/Oily

they are strangely 2 different colors lol. but they both match my skin extremely well. weird. anyhoo, i put #1 on the left side of my face and #2 on the right side. I used a Body Shop foundation brush to apply them both, and they went on very smoothly, they felt nice and cool on my face, and they immediately blended right in. I couldn't even see it, to be honest with you. I did set both sides some BM Mineral Veil, but very very lightly.

I can kinda smell the SPF in #1, but i actually like the smell, its not extremely bothersome to me in any way.

You cannot tell which side is which, so far, so good. Although they're different formulas, so far (and its only been an hour--i'll report back later today lol) i'm loving the finish.

My favorite drugstore foundation to date has been the maybelline liquid dream mousse (my color is caramel dark 2), but if these maintain their staying power thru-out this hot ass day, then they may very well climb up into my heart as well, but again, i'm loving it so far. It's not heavy at all.
